Where can you use the Debit Cards?

TBC Bank Visa debit cards are accepted in all places over the world equipped with the VISA logo. The card can be used via Internet or phone to make orders at 16 million goods and service centres and 950,000 ATMs in 250 counties.

Payment at merchants

When making payment at merchants (through electronic terminal or imprinter), sales staff will provide you with checks to sign. Your signature should be similar to the one on the back of your card. Otherwise, sales personnel are authorized to ask you to present ID and cancel the transaction if you do not do so.

Internet transactions

Performing transactions on the Internet is possible with VISA Electron Internet, VISA Classic, Business and Gold cards. For this, you must enter the card's 16-digit number and expiration date. In some cases, you must also indicate the 3-digit number on the back of the card. Before you enter your card information on the Internet, be sure you feel confident about the security and legitimacy of the web page. It is advised that you use different cards for Internet and other types of transactions, for example have a Visa Electron Internet card for Internet operations and any other type of card for non-Internet operations. It is recommended that you keep a relatively small balance on the card you designate for Internet use. You should also take into consideration that cardholders to not have the right to dispute transactions conducted via Internet. It should be pointed out that some “e-shops” on the Internet do not accept Visa Electron Internet, but do accept Classic and Gold cards.

Cash withdrawal at Banks

You can withdraw cash from any Bank that provides services to VISA International cards. To withdraw cash, you need to present your card and ID to a Bank employee. With a Payroll Visa Electron Card, however, you can withdraw cash only at TBC Bank branches and ATMs

Cash withdrawal at ATMs

When withdrawing cash from an ATM, you need your PIN-code (the 4-digit personal identification number known only by cardholder). The PIN code is issued only once, and if it is restored or replaced, it is necessary to create a new card. If a PIN code is entered incorrectly into an ATM three times, the ATM seizes the card. While staying abroad, cards seized by ATMs may not be returned.
