What is TBC Card?
TBC Card is a credit card with the longest grace period in
Georgia.
What advantages does the grace period have?
If you cover all the arrears accrued on TBC Card within a given grace period, no interest is charged.
For instance, your credit limit was approved on April 10th; your grace period is 55 days, from April 10th till June 4th. On April 25th, you withdrew 200 Lari from the card. If you cover this amount until the end of grace period, there will be no interest charged on the used amount.
Grace period – period, from credit approval until due date. TBC Card gives you 55-day period to cover all arrears. For instance, your limit was approved on April 10th; your grace period is 55 days – from April 10th to June 4th.
Grace period is the same both for amounts paid in merchants and withdrawals in ATMs or bank branches.
What if I do not use the grace period, how can I cover the arrears?
In this case, you can return the used amount with minimal payments. These payments consist of one tenth of the amount used plus interest.
For example, you withdrew 200 Lari, but chose not to use advantage given by grace period. Until this period ends, you have to cover 20 Lari plus interest. Afterwards, you will have to cover 18 Lari and interest and so on until the amount used is fully covered.
When do I have to make those minimal payments?
You can make these payments until the end of every grace period.
If my credit was approved on April 10th, when is my billing date?
Your billing date will be May 10th, June 10th, July 10th etc.
Billing date – billing date is the same every month. It is the date of your credit approval. If your credit limit was approved on the 10th of any month, then your billing date will be 10th of every month. You will receive an SMS notifying the credit approval.
Can billing date be any date of the month?
You cannot choose the billing date yourself. It depends on credit approval date?

If your limit was approved on the 28th, 29th, 30th, or 31st of any month, your billing date will be 27th of every month;

In other cases, the billing date will be the same as credit approval date.
I withdrew different amounts in different days, what is the grace period for each of them?
If you make all the transactions within one billing period, then the grace period will be the same for all amounts. If you make transactions after given billing period, then the grace period will change.
Having billing dates from April 10th to May 10th, all the amounts used in this period will have to be covered till June 4th. Amounts withdrawn after May 10th will have grace period till 5th of July (next grace period).
Billing period – period between billing dates. If your billing date is April 10th, the billing period will be from April 10th to may 10th, from may 10th to June 10th etc.
When is the due date?
Amount used can be covered on any date within the grace period, however the last day to make payments is the end of the grace period.
Can I choose the due date myself?
Due date depends on credit approval date.
How can I cover the amounts due?

Information is available in any of our branches or via telephone banking.
When can I receive information about my current balance?
Invoice can received on the billing date.
What information does the invoice contain?
It contains information about amounts used, penalty amounts (if any), and the last date of grace period.

In case of late payments, there is one-time payment of 10 Lari and 0.5% on overdue day;

In case of overspending the limit – 0.3% per day.
What if the due date is a holiday or it falls on a weekend?
If the due date is a non-working day, the payment can be made the next working day.
What are the necessary documents for TBC Card?
Necessary documents are an ID card and salary statement.
How will I know about the decision?
You will receive SMS on approval date, or you can call any of our operators.
Is it possible to increase the initial amount of the credit?
Initial amount increases in following situations:

If your salary/income increased and 6 months have passed from the approval date;

If you present the documents, in case of initial limit approval on the basis of an ID card.
What amounts is the interest payable to?
Interest is only payable on the amount used.
In case of VISA Classic/Gold, MasterCard Standard/Gold:

Cash withdrawal from TBC bank and VTB ATMs – 1%, min. 1 Lari;

Cash withdrawal from other bank’s branches or ATMs – 2%, min. 6 Lari;

Payments in terminals – 0.25%.
In case of VISA Instant Card:
Cash withdrawal from TBC bank and VTB ATMs – 3%, min. 1 Lari;
Cash withdrawal from other bank’s branches or ATMs – 3%, min. 6 Lari;
Above-mentioned fees apply to
Georgia as well as foreign countries.
What type of a card is TBC Card?
TBC Card can be any of international VISA Classic/Gold and MasterCard Standard/Gold cards, as well as VISA Electron.
What is the yearly service fee for TBC Bank?
VISA Electron – free of charge;
VISA Classic, MC Standard – 35 Lari;
VISA Gold, MC Gold – 120 Lari.
What is validity of a card?
VISA Classic/MC Standard, and Gold cards – 4 years
VISA Electron – 2 years
When will you deduct the service fees?
First year fee will be deducted at first transaction; subsequent fees will be deducted after two, three etc. years of card usage.
Can I purchase TBC Card independently from tariff packages?
TBC Card can be purchased independently.
What is the currency of credit limit?
Credit limit currency is Lari.
In what currencies can I withdraw money?
Money withdrawals are possible in currencies that are available in ATMs.
What is range of the limit on TBC Card?
The maximum amount possible is 10,000 Lari (5 times the salary), and the minimum is 100 Lari.
What is the interest on TBC Card?
The interest is from 2.75% to 3.25% monthly.
