Card's Safety
Let's take care of your card's safety together!
 

Card Storage Conditions

  • Try to keep your card safe, so that no one can use it.
  • Do not give the card and/or PIN code to another parson.
  • Never tell the card number and the PIN code to anyone, as they are confidential.
  • Try to keep the card away from magnetic fields, that can induce damage of the card’s magnetic strip.
  • Do not keep your PIN code with your card and never write the PIN code on the card.

Several Recommendations to Cardholders

  • When using the card at goods or service centres, check the amount indicated on the check/slip before signing it and keep copies until the amounts indicated on it are deducted from your account.
  • When receiving the card, put your signature (as it is given in your passport) on the designated line on the back of the card. This will protect you from future misunderstandings while using the card.
  • If the card expires, is lost/damaged, or you forget the PIN number while being abroad, please contact the Bank to find out the terms of plastic card renewal.
  • The amount transferred by sale or service point (including casino, totalizator, etc.) above the minimum balance will be available after 30 days from the transfer date.

Additional Security Mechanism-Transaction Monitoring.

To comply with international VISA organization’s requirement, the Bank permanently monitors card transactions performed by the customer, in order to secure your funds at maximum level.

If the Bank considers card transactions as suspicious, it is authorized to stop (block) the card without preliminary notification of the customer.

It is possible to submit preliminary written notice to the Bank and in this case the Bank will no longer monitor the transactions.

Please take into consideration that the card will be blocked if you do one of the following in a short period of time:

  • enter the wrong PIN number 3 consecutive times;
  • perform many transactions (via ATM, sales points, in the Bank);
  • try to withdraw cash several times when requested amount diminishes with each trial;
  • try to use the card in two different countries;
  • try to withdraw large amount of money;
  • perform the internet transactions above the permitted number;.
